ABOUT LEGACY

History

Hogwarts founded in the 10th century 990 AD by four brilliant witches and wizards: Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin. Their shared goal was to create “the world’s best magic school”. Hogwarts’ history is marked by the founders’ initial camaraderie, which eventually fractured due to Slytherin’s pure-blood ideology. This led to his departure and a pivotal moment in Hogwarts’ development.
